Before Wearing Contact Lenses

Hand Hygiene
Hands should be clean and washed thoroughly to prevent eye infection.

Lens Preparation
Open your contact lens case and use your fingertip to put the first contact lens on your non-dominant hand. Check to make sure the lens isn't damaged and that the correct side is facing up.

Lens Placement
Look in front of you or up toward the ceiling and place the lens in your eye.
STEP 02
Wearing Contact Lenses

Eyelid Positioning
Use the middle finger of the right hand to pull. Use the other middle finger to pull open the upper eyelid with the eyes looking at the front.

Lens Application
Use the tip of the finger to gently lift the lens, put it onto the eyes until the lenses is pressed to the eyeball.

Lens Centering
Let loose the eyelid, close the eyes and move the eyeball, naturally blink the eyes and the lenses will automatically be placed at the center.

Comfort Check
Observe the lens wearing position in the mirror to check whether the eyes are comfortable.
STEP 03
Removing Contact Lenses

Hand Preparation
Before removing the lenses, hands should be clean and washed thoroughly to prevent eye infection.

Eyelid Position
The eyes should look up a little and use both middle fingers to pull open the eyelid.

Eye Protection
Use the index finger to move the eyes downward to prevent from hurting the pupil.

Lens Removal
Use the thumb and index fingers to hold the lower end of the lens while gently folding it. Use the tip of the finger to remove the lens gently.
